This portable air conditioner from Amcor cools with 14,000 BTUs and is designed to condition an average-sized rooms up to 400 sq. ft. Patented Evaporative Booster Technology - During the cooling process, water is extracted from the air as it passes through the unit. Most of this water is used to cool the unit and make it run more efficiently. This unit has a built-in water tank (not removable) with a drain outlet. When the tank fills, the compressor stops running. This indicates that the tank should be emptied. Included with the unit is a window mounted exhaust kit. AC must be vented via exhaust hose and window kit (included). Design values continue to reach new heights with the introduction of the "Plasma" look for portable air conditioners. Reflecting the simple elegant look of modern flat screen products, we deliver a new level of integration and style. Note: If your room has a heat source such as direct sunlight or computer servers, the AC coverage area may be reduced.
