I use this monitor for travel only. It has great distance in the house and right outside of the house. Clear communication and durable. I cannot comment if are to use this monitor as your primary monitor. That is why I put 5 stars.

We bought this monitor after using another one and love this one! Our son is now 18 months and we're still using it! I will admit sometimes it will beep like it's out of range when we're moving through the house but not much. I recommend this product!

It did not seem to matter how many different color combos we tried less than a week later the monitor would start beeping frantically at about 2am. We tried placing both the receiver and the monitor in many locations but nothing seemed to work.
