Worked great for about 4 months, then the motor burnt out. Beware if you like your smoothies with one or two ice cubes, it will probably ruin this blender. Spend a little more to get the one that will potentially last longer. I did not abuse the thing...

i must have gotten a lemon because mine quit working after using it only twice; had the same problem with a back to basics toaster/egg poacher which i think i was able to use 3 times before it quit working so it's maybe the brand
