I purchased this camera to make films. I have shot 3 movies so far and the quality is excellent. The camera has all of the features you need as a new film maker and delivers pro results. The camera is heavy when not used on a tripod. It is a great camera and a fair price. There is no other entry level pro video camera. Overall it is a great camera for the price.
