This camcorder was very disappointing. In the three years that I've owned it, it's gone for repairs 3 times (the last one costing over $200!!). It's failed again but I won't send this back for service. It's time for a better quality product. Definite

This camera is very good if it didn't have reliability problems. The battery doesn't connect properly and there is an error message which tells you to reconnect. There are many other reviews that list this problem so I don't think it's an isolated case.

We have a GR-DVM50U (same thing, just the previous model)and it's a piece of junk. We've had it in the shop three times already (had it three years), each time between $200 and $500. Now it's about to go in again. We could have bought a new one by now!

Since I purchased this camera, i have yet to complete a single tape. I had the camera repaired(ha ha) and it worked for about 10 minutes. As you can see many others have had this problem, and if JVC will not respond then maybe a class action suit is in

I own JVC camcorder and feel that I wasted away my money. Camcorder has been very unreliable with "E04 battery in safeguard mode" error every other time I use it. Search on Google for "JVC camcorder error" and you'll know what I mean. I'll never recommn

I have GR90 DVM90U for two and half years. It broked down 3 times Error messages: Clean head Remove battery Failed to load cassete Cost me $600 to fix it. Do not buy this product. JVC doesn't care.

I have had TWO of these mini cameras. Both have broken within 12 months and I called JVC there repair dept and they are very poor to communicate or solve your problems. There product is simply cheap! I should have bought a Sony.
