The Image Stabilization does not work at all. I shot the same test pattern with and without OIS and editied the two clips together on my computer and there was no difference. Too much to pay for a camera that lacks this feature.

JVC's 'customer care' department appears to consist of 2 guys trained to be as obnoxious and rude as they can to anyone who complains about JVC products! I bought a JVC camcorder a couple of years ago and I will never, ever, buy another product with the
