This is an excellant camera for all around use. I used it in Canada and the video's and digital stills rule. My recommendation is if you can part w/the $ buy it. You won't be unhappy. uploading stills from this camera to your computer was way easier t

My quibbles so far: When playing back S-VHS on TV, I have to disconnect 1 audio channel bcause of B-A-D noise. Can't figure out if I'm doing something wrong. Also analog video output on TV has bad video every so often - albeit perfect on the MC200 viewer
