The SDR-H60's 50x optical zoom lens has the power you need to take dramatic close-ups or get remarkable shots of even distant subjects. Panasonic's Advanced Optical Image Stabilization (O.I.S.) suppresses the effects of handshake as you shoot. The system uses gyro sensors to detect handshake, then shifts a lens and adjusts the optical axis to compensate. The SDR-H60's 60GB internal hard disk drive lets you record continuously for up to 54 hours in LP mode without changing a disc, tape or other recording media. Panasonic's Anti-Shock Shield helps protect recorded video data from damage due to jolts and impact. The Drop Detect function senses if the camera is falling and moves the head away from the hard disk. You can transfer the motion-image data from the SD card or the camcorder's hard drive right to your PC using your USB port. With the included VideoCam Suite 1.0 software, you can easily put scenes in a different order and delete the ones you don't want. The Panasonic HDC-HS9 offers full High-Definition, 1920 x 1080 progressive recording (24 frames per second) and use the AVCHD video format. In addition, it features Panasonic's original 3CCD system, Advanced MEGA O.I.S. Optical Image Stabilizer, and a Leica Dicomar lens. Advanced MEGA O.I.S. checks and compensates for handshake around 4,000 times per second, about eight times more effectively than Panasonic's previous systems. In a 3CCD camera system, the light received through the lens is split into its three primary color components and a signal from each is processed by one of the 3CCDs to provide rich and detailed video images. Face Detection automatically locates any faces in the picture and adjusts the exposure, contrast and skin tone to achieve optimal results. With Intelligent Shooting Guide, the HDC-HS9 will detect when shooting conditions are poor and then display tips on the LCD as a way for you to correct the error before recording the content. Intelligent Shooting Guide can detect errors when the camcorder is panning too quickly or tilted, when the user's hand is swinging, when the subject is backlit, or the lighting is too low. The HS9 is a hybrid model and can record full-High Definition images onto either an SD (or SDHC) Memory Card or to its built-in 60-GB hard disk. The 60-GB hard disk can hold up to 23 hours. Starts recording just 0.6 second from the time the LCD is opened, making it easier to catch those special moments that come with no warning

The HDC-SD5 hi-def camcorder can copy recordings from the SD Memory Card to a DVD disc, maintaining the original full-HD format, or use the included software to burn a full-HD recording from an SD Memory Card to a DVD disc on your PC.Images recorded by conventional HD camcorders have only 1,440 horizontal pixels, while full-HD camcorders have 1,920; that's about 30 percent more recording pixels! The result is a level of detail and resolution that goes beyond anything you've ever experienced before. And because full-HD recordings contain a vast amount of picture information, they look beautiful not only on high-definition TVs, but on standard-definition TVs as well.Camera shake happens. Unsteady hands, shooting while in motion: these factors can reduce the quality of your video. But Panasonic has developed its best-ever built-in Optical Image Stabilization, which compensates for hand-shake and helps keep your videos crisp, steady and blur-free.The HDC-SD5 comes with a world-class Leica Dicomar lens, fashioned specifically for high-definition digital camcorders. The superior craftsmanship of Leica's advanced lens system captures stunning images and colors that look magnificent in HD. Combined with Panasonic's advanced 3CCD system, which uses three separate sensors to capture and process light, you can relive your memories in lifelike detail on your HDTV screen.

When it comes to shooting videos, simpler is better. Panasonic DVD camcorders make it exceptionally easy to capture your precious memories directly onto several DVD formats (DVD-RAM, DVD-RW, DVD-R/DL) and SD Cards. When you finish shooting, just take the disc out of the camcorder and slip it right into your DVD player or recorder for immediate playback - there's no need to connect any cables. Imagine taking video shots on a moving boat and then viewing them on a large-screen TV. They're likely to appear blurry from the boat's movement and from your unsteady hands. Panasonic solves this problem with O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer), which minimizes handshake in situations where it is most often a problem, such as with zoom shots - or on a moving boat. The system is optical, so there is no quality loss, and images look clear and beautiful on a big-screen TV. 37mm Filter Diameter F1.9 (Wide) - F4.3 (Tele) Shutter Speed - 1/30-1/8000 sec (Motion Image), 1/30-1/500 sec (Still Image) 2.7 Wide LCD Monitor Built-in SD/SDHC Slot Accepts 8cm, DVD-RAM, DVD-R DL, DVD-R/RW Stereo Zoom Microphone with Wind Noise Reduction Recording / Playback Mode - XP (10 Mbps/VBR), SP (5Mbps/VBR), LP (2.5Mbps/VBR) Recording Format - MPEG2 (Motion Image) Audio Recording Format - Dolby Digital 2-channel Recording Time - DVD-RAM/DVD-RW - XP(36mins)/SP(74mins)/LP(150mins), DVD-R DL - XP(35mins)/SP(69mins)/LP(138mins), DVD-R - XP(18min)/SP(37mins)/LP(75mins) Still Picture - JPEG format at 0.3MP (640 x 480) resolution Connectors - AV out, Analog Out, USB 2.0 Approximate Unit Dimensions - 3.52(H) x 2.08(W) x 5.06(D) Approximate Unit Weight - 0.88lbs

The SX5 features Advanced O.I.S. and the 3CCD camera system. Advanced O.I.S. prevents blurry images caused by unsteady hands as you shoot, so images are clear, sharp and beautiful on a big TV screen. The 3CCD camera system is used in most professional broadcasting equipment because it draws out the full potential of the camera's high image quality. One of the new functions, called Pre-Rec, simplifies shooting and prevents mistakes. Pre-Rec records the image for 3 seconds before you even start shooting, so you're sure to capture unexpected actions that you would otherwise miss. Intelligent Contrast Control helps render natural-looking, highly nuanced images with proper contrast.Images recorded onto an SDHC/SD Memory Card can be copied onto a DVD disc entirely within the SX5, thanks to a one-touch copy function. Prior to shooting, you can also choose to save the data in either AVCHD or MPEG-2 format to match your playback device.
