Pros: Picture and sound quality are phenomenal. I recorded an outdoor concert event for a friend and even with the loud amps, the recorded picked everything up and leveled ti out. The sound was not distorted in any way.
Cons: Wish it had a usb hookup, but that?s a manufacturer flaw. Also if packed with a Firewire card it would have saved me sometime.

Pros: This camcorder is very simple to shoot with in auto mode.
Cons: Poor video quality; minimalist buttons make menu navigation a pain.

Pros: PRICE !!! Very light weight and has almost all the features you need in a good video camera. Is kept uncomplicated so most people can learn how to use it very quickly.
Cons: The photo option is a bit mis-stated. There is no memory card and it records the still image to the digital tape (5 sec.) which you have to transfer when you download the tape contents to your computer. You also cannot do even this feature while reco
