I have taken around 20-22 rolls in this camera. most of the good pics I have taken are outside. But the close-ups and with more zoom the picture quality as well as depth of colour are very poor. I never expected this quality for this cost.

I had used Stylus 140DLX and produced photos of excellent quality that many viewers thought the photos were shot by some high-end professional camera. But with Stylus 170 model, I'm very disappointed. It seems like it gets out of focus when zoomed all t

My biggest complaint is the shutter. The slightest hand move can cause the shutter to slide to the off position. This will cause the zoom to blur the picture.

QuickTake:

Pros: Nice for still pictures
Cons: Shutter slides during a shot and can blur picture

Comments:
Close-ups of people are completely washed out unless you stand way back and use the zoom, then they are slightly blurred. Red-eye doesn't always work. This camera seems to have a mind of it's own. I've seen clearer, crisper pictures with single use camera

QuickTake:

Pros: Zoom button in a good place
Cons: Just about everything

Comments:
I hoped for sharp pics as the other Mju cameras have - almost all of my photos taken at 170 zoom - (the fullest) - were out of focus. Apparently it needs very strong vertical lines to focus and these are just not always available - especially in scenery.

QuickTake:

Pros: Good size, splash-proof.
Cons: Goes out of focus when used on full zoom - disappointing.
