I must say, I have had this camera since Christmas, and I love it! It has tons of features (many program modes: night shot, green (ie, point and shoot) mode, action mode, etc) that allow point and shooters to get the feel of an SLR. And this is a great little camera to get the feel of. It's very comfortable to hold, and it's nice and light!

I only have a few complaints. First, there is no depth of field preview while composing your photograph in the viewfinder, but this is really only a setback if you don't have any idea of how depth of field works. More significantly, the manual, in some spots, is translated very poorly, and additionally, detailed explanations of how to use some functions are lacking.

Other than that, this is an excellent camera, in my humble opinion, for beginning and intermediate photographers alike. I have been learning quite a bit about SLR photo since I started, but I've still yet to use, let alone grow out of, all the features it offers.
