The MP process was developed to improve MP3 sound by restoring upper harmonics lost during PCM-to-MP3 conversion. The MP process adds perceived warmth and provides clear sound from heavily compressed MP3 material. A built-in subwoofer crossover and level control let you optimize the system for use with an external powered subwoofer for door-crushing bass when the situation warrants. For the tuner, you'll enjoy 18 FM and 12 AM station presets, as well as SSIR-EXA tuning. SSIR-EXA adjusts the tuner's bandwidth depending on environmental conditions to ensure the clearest reception from any location.
