The TDW354BK is a dual cassette deck featuring Dolby HX Pro. JVC boasts improved accuracy because of its proprietary "Compu-calibration," a computer-controlled recording calibration system incorporating full-logic control and motor actuators. This sounds convoluted, but what it means is that your deck will automatically optimize bias, equalization and level for lower distortion. The TDW354BK has incorporated means of combating modulation noise (like the notorious wow and flutter) by including a series of cassette-shell stabilizers and large insulators. What's more, this model includes auto/synchro record mute (for automatic dubbing of CDs), auto tape type selector and a headphone jack. If you're the impatient type, use the high-speed editing with synchro dubbing to record that mix even faster. Otherwise, this deck carries a full feature set including Dolby B and C noise reduction, Dolby HX Pro (on deck B only), and pitch control (on deck A only).
