Featured Review by Jon V. Sevigny: I have owned two 1009 and two of the older models (1007) and have had nothing but problems. All four units were in and out of the repair shop (40 miles away) at least three times each. One unit was completely replaced and started skipping songs and cutting out in the middle of a cut, the day it arrived. I like the concept but loading, entering text and unloading due to malfunction over twenty times it just too much. I will try someother brand or go directly to hard drives. Featured Review by Bull: This CD player has more than enough features to keep you occupied for hours, it's easy to use and has extreamly good playback quality, with the option to link this CD player to an AV Amp using the digital link for even better sound quality. With a 5 CD auto loading system it gives you hours and hours of music without the need to change CD. It also has a 32 track programming mode so u can play all your favourite tracks off any CD in any order u like! some of the other playback modes include intro mode, repeat mode and random playback mode. A handy track calander enables you to quickly assess what track you are listening to and how many tracks are on the CD. The only fault I can see with this CD is it's size, it is a big piece of kit but it really isn't that bad compared to what you get. That and the fact that it aint got CDRW playback and CD text which are only minor complaints rounds up to make a great bit of Hi Fi kit for a small bit of money. (See all reviews) Hide this review
