This is the 3rd Cuisinart coffee maker I've purchased in the last 10 years...and it is the 3rd one I've had to return due to poor design. Like most others say, it spills, overflows, and is generally a mess to pour a simple mug of coffee, unless you want
carafe leaks every time it's used; have had it replaced three times; same thing happened each time; cuisinart provided no other solution other than replacing the carafe again; have given up; I DO NOT recommend this product!
Compact and easy to use for up to 4 cups of coffee. It brews 4 very good cups of coffee. With the stainless pot it is a bit tough to tell when the brewing has completed, although I don't consider this a problem.
