Panasonic's KX-TG200B 2-line phone system could outfit a medium-sized business. The system starter includes a base unit with corded handset and one 2.4 GHz DSS cordless extension with charger.

You can add up to seven additional cordless extensions. What's more, the system incorporates a digital answering system with eight voice mailboxes and up to 100 minutes of recording time.

The KX-TG2000's base unit incorporates a full-duplex speakerphone. The base and handsets sport 3-line LCDs to accommodate Caller ID/Call Waiting subscriptions. The system keeps 100 Caller ID entries in a log for reference and redialing. Plus, 50 numbers can be stored in the speed-dialer.

You can access saved messages remotely, with voice prompts and toll saver to make the process easier.

The handsets have headset jacks and data ports for hooking up modems and fax machines. Other features include call transfer and message transfer, two-way page/intercom., conferencing and basics such as flash, redial and hold.
