(It is required that you subscribe to Caller ID/Call Waiting from the phone company.) The screen also displays the 40 names and numbers in the speed dial memory. DSS technology provides top-quality privacy and clarity as well as greater range than an ordinary cordless phone. The EXS9995 also has conference calling, a backlit keypad, a headset jack and page/intercom. The speakerphone is only half-duplex, meaning both sides can't talk at the same time. Another important feature of this phone is a battery charging compartment in the base, but the back-up battery must be purchased separately.
