Dehumidifiers

We bought this dehumidifier based on the reviews posted here and we couldn't be happier. We keep it in our family room and it doesn't compete with the tv. Our previous dehumidifier had to be kept in a seperate room because it was so loud. It works great, especially with the high humidity of summer. (See all reviews)

I live right off the water in eastern North Carolina and needed a dehumidifier that would effectively control the humidity in my 2,000 sq ft home. We have a Steinway grand piano, so it was important to find a reliable machine that can do the job. After much research decided on the Santa Fe Rx. I don't have a basement and no room in the mechanical area, so I needed something that would look ok in the living area. I also wanted it to self-drain.



I have had the Santa Fe for three years now and it has performed flawlessly. For the past eight months I was away from home and it worked without problems the entire time.



It's built extremely well.



I highly recommend this unit if:

* you have a challenging humidity problem,

* high reliability is critical,

* hassle-free operation is desirable, and

* price is not an obstacle.
