This is a great camera for well-lit landscapes and travel photography. The 16:9 format is perfect for HDTV viewing, and the Leica lens is extremely sharp and color-corrected. The main downside is low-light shooting, where any ISO higher than 100 results in noise reduction artifacts. I recommend keeping the ISO set at 100, and the noise reduction to "low" for best results.
Image quality is reasonable, but there are far better cameras available for less.
