Can't answer honestly about battery life. Haven't had the camera long enough....
Pros: So easy for this 72 year old to learn how to use. Love the small size. So easy to fit in my purse so I'm always ready to take pictures of the grandchildren.
Cons: My fault that I did not know a memory card was needed so I had to reorder. We'll blame that on age!

After envying my friend's camera for the past two months, I had to buy this for myself. (I was able to purchase it for $150 less than she paid, as the price has gone down significantly from when it first hit the market.) The controls are very user-friendly and there are many USEFUL options for what we used to have to manually set as far as film speed and aperture settings. The video quality is quite reasonable too. The large screen is perfect and it's very easy to upload pictures/video to your PC via the software (included), or directly to your printer using the memory stick. In short, I love this camera!!
Pros: Inexpensive, Easy to Use, High-quality Images
Cons: Controls may be hard to use for people with large fingers

It's typical of Sony that the Cyber-shot DSC-W55 is a classy looking number. Our model came finished in a cool silver colour scheme and decorated with subtle details that make it appear far pricier than £147....
Review Verdict: Good looking and comfortable to use, the Sony produces decent-looking shots. It's relatively expensive for a compact model, and it uses only proprietary Sony memory. But this is one nifty digital camera.

This budget digital camera is a £10 upgrade to the Cyber-shot DSC-W35, which buys you a nice brushed-metal fascia and a larger LCD screen. It's not the most exciting camera in the world, but its clear and pleasing photos make it worth a gander...
Pros: Solid image quality and performance; brushed-aluminium faceplate is a pretty touch for a budget model
Cons: Plastic body; review button is not easy to press
Review Verdict: It's not the fanciest camera, but quick performance and solid images make this £120 shooter a worthwhile choice
