• Don't buy!!

  I purchased the white version of this dishwasher last April. It never cleaned good, like the water was not getting to the dishes. We tried all kinds of ways to get it to work, finally calling LG for service. The serviceman (from D&E appliance repair in La Habra) came out, listened to it running, and said that the wash motor was bad as it didn't make enough sound and ordered a new one. A month later, the part came in and he installed it. He broke the sink tile while trying to remove the dishwasher from its mounting hole. (I had adjusted the back feet lower to make the insides level) He installed the new motor/pump assembly and tried it out. It sounded the same to me but he said to try it for a while and see if it worked any better. It didn't, but now I had a new problem. It began to smell after it had been on for a while, so bad that my wife couldn't be in the kitchen while it was on as it made her throw up. I called again for service and this time a new repairman came out. I had the dishwasher on so he coule smell it. He didn't even bring in any tools, said that it was working fine and that there was no smell as his eyes didn't run! And left!
  <br>I reported this to LG and after much delay, they finally had the unit returned and I got my money back.
  <br>The Bottom Line: Don't buy! Don't even think of buying!

  The dishes and silverware are not clean. A repairmean came he told me to run strong setting and extra rinse, which I did and found it little better. However I was still having to wash lots of dishes, silverware.
  <br><br><br>My son looked at it and suggested I run Power scrub, which I did and did makea big difference. I only had 5 dishes and 7 pieced of silverware to wash. But I do not think you should have to do that.
• Pros: nice interior, can wash either upper rack or lower rack
• Cons: adjust rack won't stay put, lots dishes are not clean.
