That interest fueled many of his later, now-legendary experimental films and music videos; 1987's "Astro Turf" stars Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon, and Markey would later shoot the video for "I Love You Golden Blue," included here along with The Posies' "Ritchie Dagger's Crime" and Eyes Adrift's "Alaska."
