Dean Cain stars in this television drama based on the true story of the murder of Laci Petersen. On Christmas Eve, pregnant housewife Laci disappears. As months go by, no trace of her is found, and the only suspect is her husband, Scott (Cain). Laci's family stands by Scott, believing him to be innocent until Scott's mistress, Amber Frey, holds a press conference detailing the affair she was having with Scott. When Laci's body washes up on a shore, she is officially declared to be murdered, and Scott is found guilty of the crime.
