Its 7-inch 16:9 (widescreen) LCD (liquid crystal display) is one of the largest available -- the screen size is the only difference between this model and the step-down DVD-LV55, which has a 5-inch monitor.The DVD-LV75 has a built-in Dolby Digital/DTS decoder, so you can plug it into any receiver with a 6-channel (or 5.1-channel) input to get full surround sound. There's also an optical digital output for connection to a regular Dolby Digital receiver. Simulated surround sound is provided through both the line-level stereo output jack and the headphone jack (headphones not included).The Cinema Mode video preset is supposed to reduce glare and improve detail.
