Have found this to be a great player - the sound output is better than other's I've owned and the swivel screen is a great feature when traveling in the car or air.
Pros: Swivel screen is great
Cons: in a noisy environment headphones are a must
Comments:
I have owned sony products all my life, I am now 56 so I trusted them . I liked the looks of this thing so I bought it. The first thing I noticed was how reflective the screen is. It is like looking in a mirror, I don't want to look at myself I want to watch a movie. If you don't see yourself you get glare from something else, the sun or room lights. Now the audio, forget about it! Unless it is silent use headphones. Get a Panasonic, it costs more but it is worth it.

Pros: Slick looking, stylish, and the swivel screen is extra cool
Cons: Sound is too weak to be heard!

Pros: The affordable and sleekly designed Sony DVP-FX810 has an 8-inch swivel screen and strong battery life. It also offers dual headphone jacks, an A/V input/output, and MP3/photo CD compatibility.
Cons: The screen coating causes a noticeable glare, and the picture quality is merely average.
Review Verdict: The Sony DVP-FX810 may not offer a great picture, but its sleek design, above-average battery life, and affordable price make it an attractive value in the portable DVD category.
