Based on the popular British comedy of the same name, THE OFFICE takes place in and around the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Using the same mockumentary style as the original, the series succeeds in capturing the quiet desperation of the poor souls working in this socially stifling environment under the direction of delusional boss, regional manager Michael Scott. Comic actor Steve Carell beautifully inhabits the role, playing a man so eager to be liked, he completely alienates people with one stupid antic after another. Blindly believing himself beloved by his employees for his laid-back nature, Michael fails to see that, with the exception of nerdy and bizarre Dwight (Rainn Wilson), he is resented and despised by all. Meanwhile, Jim woos engaged receptionist Pam, while both navigate the office politics and "humor" of boss Scott. Carell perfectly walks the line between despicable and pathetic, enlisting his audience's sympathies just moments before doing or saying something horribly inappropriate. THE OFFICE may be a remake, but it has charms of its very own.

As THE OFFICE returns for season five, nearly everyone?s caught up in complicated romance: Pam (Jenna Fischer) and Jim (John Krasinski) have become a long-distance couple (while Pam?s at art school); Dwight (Rainn Wilson) is still courting his newly engaged ex, Angela (Angela Kinsey), while her unsuspecting fiance, Andy (Ed Helms), attempts to plan the perfect wedding; and Michael (Steve Carell) is helping Jan (Melora Hardin) prepare for a baby that isn?t his, all the while making mix tapes for the new HR rep, Holly (Amy Ryan). Add to these soap-opera shenanigans the day-to-day drudgery of pushing paper and caring for customers, and the result is a hilariously familiar, cringe-inducing send-up of the absurdities of modern life. This collection includes every episode from the 2008-09 season of THE OFFICE, as well as three hours of never-before-seen footage.

In the hilarious and cringe-worthy fourth season of THE OFFICE, Ryan "The Temp" Howard (B.J. Novak) moves up to the Dunder Mifflin corporate headquarters, sweethearts Pam (Jenna Fischer) and Jim (John Krasinski) go public with their long-awaited romantic relationship, and Dwight (Rainn Wilson), salesman geek extraordinaire, bristles as his ex-girlfriend, Angela (Angela Martin), is wooed away by the obnoxious Andy (Ed Helms). Of course, overseeing it all is self-proclaimed "World's Greatest Boss," Michael Scott, played by Steve Carell with a terrific obliviousness that rings painfully true to cubicle dwellers everywhere. Fresh from an Emmy win for Outstanding Comedy Series, the 2007-08 season of the workplace mockumentary delves even further into the tedium of daily office life, including the company's struggle to enter the "digital age," the production of a local TV commercial, and the constant threat of a bored-employee insurrection. This volume also follows Michael's out-of-control relationship with the increasingly unstable Jan (Melora Hardin), culminating in a bitterly hysterical dinner party that many in the office are forced to endure.

THE OFFICE may be a remake, but it has charms of its very own. SEASON TWO contains all 22 episodes from the season.

Every week, the Ghost Hunters and their crew look into a case; sometimes their efforts reveal nothing, while other times they delve into the ghostly, unseen world that lurks just beyond this one. In the first season, viewers are introduced to The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS), which Jason and Grant founded, and follow them as they investigate a ghost in the old Mishler Theatre and a lighthouse on Long Island Sound.
