This is a great looking item, that fits wonderfully with the kitchen going for the retro style. Coffee doesn't taste any different, but the price is somewhat farfetched. Overall, if you have money to spend and want the design, go for it. Otherwise, there are plenty of new cutting-edge machines that actually make your morning espresso just a little bit tastier. Designed by an Italian architect, it lends a retro-futuristic look your kitchen or office and produces some of the most perfect, authentic espresso you'll ever taste. Using the ESE (Easy Serving Espresso) System that includes pre-ground espresso filter pods, you can produce one or two cups. These filter pods are included with each machine. As an alternative, it also comes with a Ground Coffee Accessory Kit, normally an optional kit, which includes a filter-holder and a measuring spoon for the ground coffee of your choice. In addition, it dispenses hot water and steams milk with ease, thanks to the simple design. But aside from it's sleek look, cheerful color and exceptional quality, we like it because it's fun, which is why every X1 has a small child's face on the front. It's in keeping with the FrancisFrancis! motto -- "never stop being a child."
