Rating: 5 out of 5 stars Review summary of Nesco American Harvest FD-75PR Food Dehydrator

I think I have already told you what I like most about it, but here goes. I have dried several of the fruits that my husband and I like, we really like the texture and the taste of them. I have not tried jerky, but am sure it will be as easy as the fruit to do. The only problem I had with it was drying bananas, going to have to try that again. Have a question about that. Do they have to be dried until they are like chips, or should they have mostiure still in them?

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars Review summary of Ronco FD1005WHGEN Food Dehydrator

All I need is the plastic drain tray (to catch droppings on the element) and a filter (which has holes in it to allow heat through) The Ronco Recipe book would be nice to have as well.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars Review summary of L'Equip 528 Food Dehydrator

Even drying? Not "even" close. I purchased one for jerky making, used it once & returned it. After 12 hours jerky that normally takes approx. 8 in a excalibur, was still not done & 2 trays were still basically raw. I have since went back to the excalibur
