    I purchased the mini-prep for about $36. I trusted the cuisinart name and felt I had a good product but it has failed to work from the first time I used it. I thought that maybe I wasn't using it correctly but I now believe that I purchased a lemon. The motor works and the blades spin until food is placed in the bowl at which point it stalls. And yes I do chop the food in small pieces before attempting to process.
  • Pros: it looks pretty, it's small, and easy to wash
  • Cons: stalls when food placed in the bowl - never worked
