Meanwhile, the mechanic must assume the guise of a European nobleman when being introduced to his new bride's acquaintances. The revered Pedro Infante, who'd played the lead in more than 50 Mexican films and recorded 366 songs, was killed in a plane crash at the age of 40 the year after this Spanish-language comedy was released.
