Cobra's Nav One 4500 package gives you just about everything you could ask for in a portable GPS navigation unit. The package contains the GPSM4000 navigator, along with an antenna that receives real-time traffic information. Not only can it guide you wherever you're going accurately and efficiently, it can deliver real-time traffic updates along your programmed route (subscription required). You'll be warned of accidents and traffic jams well in advance, so you can avoid them and all the headaches that come with them. Best of all, when you purchase this Nav One package, you'll get a three-month subscription to the real-time traffic service free. The GPSM4000 navigator features a compact design with a large, easy-to-read 5" screen. To select your destination or make system adjustments, simply tap the screen — the menus are simple to follow. You can navigate to specific addresses, intersections, or, with the touch of a single button, to the center of town. Along your route, you can also find several different points of interest, including restaurants, hotels, tourist attractions and more. Six million of them are loaded into the system. You can also customize your route options, and take only the types of roads you prefer. The navigator comes loaded with detailed maps of the U.S. and Canada, which display on the screen as you drive. Fourteen zoom levels and 3-D views of intersections make using these maps easy, and you get voice prompts that tell you exactly when you'll need to make your next move. Should traffic incidents occur when you're on a route in a real-time traffic coverage area, alerts show up in easy-to-read dialog bubbles on the screen. The system will use color coding to show you average traffic speeds on the roads ahead of you. Cobra's iASAP system locks on to satellite signals quickly and keeps a tight hold on them. You'll receive constant guidance, even when you're driving through obstructed areas like tall buildings in the middle of a city. Should you miss a turn, the system recalculates your route automatically. And if you like going off-road, you can record the trails you ride as you go, making it easier to come back to them later.

The Nav One 2750 works simply: just enter the target address or point of interest, and the unit automatically determines the best route and offers turn-by-turn directions with clear voice guidance. The built-in street-level map of the U.S. and Canada offers full, detailed coverage of potential routes, along with more than two million points of interest from which to choose, including banks, hotels, restaurants, entertainment options, gas stations, and more. And should the driver stray off course or take a detour, the Nav One 2750 automatically recalculates the route and provides fresh directions. The maps and instructions are easier to read than ever thanks to the 5.2-inch color display, which sports wide viewing angles and a crisp lighting level that's readable in both bright sunlight and dim moonlight. Drivers will also appreciate the intuitive, backlit keys, which offer easy access to specific functions in any given mode without smudging your display. Additional features include a built-in gyroscope that maintains map positioning under tunnels and underpasses; an infrared port that lets drivers instantly transfer addresses from a Palm OS or Windows Pocket PC-based PDA; a Trip Planner function for preprogramming up to five destinations in each plan; and a Trail mode designed specifically for off-road enthusiasts. A final bonus stems from the Nav One 2750's easy portability, as drivers can remove the plug-and-play unit from one vehicle and tote it to another with no hassle. The unit, which measures 7.88 by 4.75 by 2.31 inches (W x H x D), comes with eight rechargeable batteries, a desktop charger, and two microphones.
