So you checked out all of the wiz-bang features available on GPS devices and the only one that really piques your interest is to have a nice, brilliant, widescreen display. No need for maps of Canada, Bluetooth, text-to-speech, or traffic services-- youre just looking for a basic GPS that performs well and has a widescreen. The Nuvi 200w is quite likely your GPS.Others to consider might be the TomTom XL 330 which offers multi-destination routing and has an innovative mounting system. But the display isnt quite as bright as the Nuvi 200w.

This is an excellent GPS unit for the price. It has all the maps and features necessary to navigate throughout the United States and Canada.
it works for me as long as I bear in mind it is not always 100% and that I should be aware of my track myself and be certain to read the street names off the screen to avoid confusion....should have read more detail about this model as it gives turn by turn and not by street name voice directions...still overall for the price, very happy with nuvi 200w
Compared to the Tom Tom 3rd Edition the Garmin is below average. It's mapping is below par with the Tom Tom. The visability of screen is very good. Other than that nothing better.
