The Nuvi 205w is also the Nuvi that comes with a widescreen and is easiest on the wallet.Despite the small price, the Nuvi 205w can be connected to live traffic systems with an optional traffic receiver. If you need maps of Canada, consider the Nuvi 255w instead as the 205w sold in the USA contains only maps of the contiguous United States.

About the only advanced feature not included is multi-destination routing-- but if you can live without that, this is a great GPS and a fantastic value when considering the lifetime traffic subscription.

So you checked out all of the wiz-bang features available on GPS devices and the only one that really piques your interest is to have a nice, brilliant, widescreen display. On this GPS you wont find Bluetooth, text-to-speech, or traffic services-- but if youre just looking for a basic GPS that performs well and has a widescreen. The Nuvi 250w is quite likely your GPS. Save a little more and find a Nuvi 200w if your travels wont take you outside of the contiguous US States.Others to consider might be the TomTom XL 330 which offers multi-destination routing and has an innovative mounting system. But the display isnt quite as bright as the Nuvi 250w.
