The included basemap is so poor it brings the whole package down. The Basemap is compiled from information that is, at least, 15 years old. The few roads that appear on the map in my area, Seacoast, NH, are mostly mislabeled (Rt 51 instead of Rt. 101). (more)

Wanted a GPS for quite some time, but never made the plunge. West Marine had a one day sale from $599 to $199 for the Garmin 76cs Plus. What an incredible deal, and what a great unit.
