The My Book® Studio Edition II dual-drive external storage system for Mac from Western Digital® offers optimum performance for creative professionals. Incorporating RAID technology, this system comes configured for RAID 0 (striping) for extraordinary capacity and performance, or you can set it to RAID 1 (mirroring) for extra data protection. With automatic backup software, you can back up important projects to multiple destinations including file servers, portable drives and My Book. Every time you save a change, it gets automatically backed up. It features automatic power-up, Safe Shutdown technology and LED status feature that make this storage system especially easy to use. Additionally, you can upgrade the drive by simply opening the case and replacing the existing drive, no screwdriver needed. Moreover, it includes automatic data backup software, user-service ability and works with Apples Time Machine.

Worked perfectly, first time
Use it to store largec concert files. Complete from recorded wav files from the field to complete edits. There are now thusands of concerts on the drive.

Silent and easy setup
