What kinds of special offers are available through BizRate?

You'll find three kinds of special offers at BizRate:

Our "Exclusive Offers" are available only from BizRate. Many of these are coupon offers that are automated to apply the savings when you checkout. You must click on the offer to receive the offer at the online store. Sometimes you will be given a special coupon code that will need to be entered in a designated field during checkout at the store's website as you complete the transaction.

Other offers are more widely available promotions that we bring together on our site to offer more convenient, one-stop savings. These may be shipping offers, discounts, free gifts or sales. Discounts may be automatic or in some cases require the entry of a purchase code.

Where can I find special offers at BizRate?

Look for special offers throughout BizRate. To browse through all available special offers, simply click on the Special Offers tab at the top of any page.

When and how often do special offers change?

Special offers are updated every day. The duration and value of each offer varies by merchant. We are always adding new and exciting offers for you to enjoy at BizRate, but keep in mind that many of them have expiration dates.

Can I combine several different offers in one purchase from an online store?

It depends on the type of offers the merchant is offering. If a merchant has several offers and only one (or none) requires a coupon code (such as "$10 off $50", and "free shipping when you spend over $30"), you may be able to combine these two offers in one purchase. However, if the merchant has multiple offers that require coupon codes, you may only take advantage of one of these offers. You may only be able to input one coupon code at a merchant's checkout.

What if my coupon does not work?

We encourage you to contact the online store directly concerning the offer. BizRate tries to ensure that all of the offers we list on the site are current, but the availability of an offer is at the discretion of the stores. In some cases, these offers may have restrictions such as "first time customers only". We apologize for any inconvenience if you find an unavailable, expired, or non-functional offer on the site. Please let us know about it by emailing us at help@bizrate.com.

Do I have to go from BizRate directly to the store to get these offers?

It is always best to start your shopping at BizRate to help ensure you get credit for the special offer, and as always to find the right price at the best online stores. Coupon codes that you enter when checking out at certain stores and offers available through Special Offers Alerts are the only exceptions. BizRate's stores track their special offers from our site.

Where do I return a product if I'm not satisfied with my purchase?

In the case of returns or cancellations, PLEASE DO NOT SEND ITEMS TO BizRate. You must return your purchase to the store from which you bought it.

What are "cookies" and why do I have to have them "enabled" on my browser?

Cookies are small, harmless computer files that your web browser places on your computer when you go to certain Web sites. Many of our participating online stores use these little cookies to identify you as a BizRate customer and they are essential for keeping track of how our special offers are used.

What are Special Offer Alerts?

BizRate continuously scours the Web to give you hundreds of Special Offers to save you money. When you enter a Web site that has a discount for shipping, a gift with purchase, or any number of similar offers, a Special Offer Alert will pop up to let you know.

Why was I taken to the homepage of the store when I clicked on the special offer?

Some stores require you to click the offer first and then begin your shopping from a special version of the homepage, which credits your offer for checkout. Be sure you click on the special link to the offer before you start shopping or you may have to place items in your shopping cart again.

Where do you get these Special Offers?

All of these offers are available in the Special Offers section of the BizRate Marketplace.

How do I suspend Special Offer Alerts?

To suspend Special Offer Alerts, simply click your Shop Button and select "What are Special Offers" from the menu. To be sure that you don't miss a chance to save the next time you shop online, we recommend that you leave these automatic alerts set to "Show Special Offer Alerts."
