A one-hit wonder who's struggling to get his career back on track encounters a sexy fan whose dangerous obsession could prove his undoing in this thriller starring Billy Zane and Estella Warren. Back in the 1980s, Mikey Taylor (Zane) was topping the charts--and bottoming out. Mikey was completely out of control, but 20 years later he's sober, married, and finally poised to reclaim his fame. Gifted demo-singer Matty (Warren) is a big fan with an amazing voice, but shortly after hiring her, Mikey begins to sense that something is deeply wrong. The closer Matty gets to Mikey, the more she plies him with sex, drugs, and alcohol. Every day is a struggle for Mikey, and eventually the allure of his sexy new protege becomes too powerful to resist. But Matty is insatiable, and little does Mikey realize that he's just become ensnared in her treacherous web of lies, lust, and temptation. Should he fail to break free before he hits rock bottom, one-hit wonder Mikey will likely wind up six feet under.

The fractious relationship between director Paul Morrissey (known for his work on Andy Warhol's FLESH, TRASH and HEAT) and his two stars--Brit comedians Peter Cook (from the 1967 version of BEDAZZLED) and Dudley Moore (ARTHUR)--threatened to usurp this satirical poke at the SHERLOCK HOLMES books. But fortunately the end results more than justify the somewhat shaky atmosphere on set, with the laughs coming thick and fast throughout. Cook plays Holmes, who sends his faithful partner Watson (Moore) to take on a case involving a demonic dog. The fruitless search for the errant canine leads to some merriment at Watson's expense, while Holmes is busy visiting his mother, and interviewing candidates to run errands for him (he settles on a one-legged man). Pairing elements of PYTHON-esque humor with the gross-out tendencies of director Morrissey, this is a fascinating clash of comedic styles that produces some rib-tickling scenes, and is lovingly infused with the dark humor of co-writers Cook and Moore.

Four vintage horror films are collected here. 1931's THE PHANTOM follows a criminal mastermind as he escapes from Death Row and sets out for revenge on his captors, while THE INTRUDER (1932) tells the intriguing story of a ship with a sinister murderer on board that crashes on a very odd deserted island. TANGLED DESTINIES, directed by Frank Strayer in 1932, has the stranded passengers and crew of a downed airplane taking refuge in a creepy, deserted old house, with predictably deadly results. And finally, in 1943's DEAD MEN WALK, George Zucco turns in memorable performances as both a respected small-town doctor and his evil, bloodsucking twin.

Momiji Fujimiya lives in ignorant bliss about the demons of Shinto mythology, but that's all about to change when the monsters known as Aragami begin trying to kill her. She thought she was a typical teenager, but a little soul searching reveals that she is really the reincarnation of Kushinada, an ancient princess who defeated the Aragami. Soon she's caught in a battle for the fate of all humanity that will involve a secret government agency, monsters from hell, and Momiji's supposedly dead twin sister. It's a complex story that fuses the imagery of Japanese mythology with a modern setting in an anime where ancient demons are out to take back the world unless one schoolgirl can stop them. This release includes every episode from BLUE SEED, as well as three episodes from its sequel, BLUE SEED: BEYOND.
