Since the 16th century, the myth of La Llorona has occupied the Western hemisphere with its tale of a woman who killed her children. In modern-day New York City, the spirit returns and kids begin dying all over the city. A pair of detectives (played by Christian Camargo and Carols Leon) investigate the murders, but both the supernatural and horrific nature of the crime begin to plague them. The terror also hits too close to home for a young mother (Adriana Dominguez) who may be possessed by La Llorona.
