Design flaw in the spindle- the plastic threaded part where the motor connects to the juicer... Mine formed a star shaped crack radiating out from the center after only a couple of months. I knew it was doomed, but I was able to get a few more months out
I got this juicer and while it does extract juice, it makes an awful mess, not only of itself but of your kitchen too. The feeding is not smooth and in between feedind you may have pieces of vegetables or fruits jumping out the feeding tube.
