I paid $750 after rebates. This is a lot of laptop for that amount of money. 512 Mb RAM is a huge advantage over other laptops in this price range. The picture quality (15")is excellent. I've owned Toshiba laptops before and I've never been disappoint

I like the laptop but had to replace whole k/b when 3 keys fell off; you can snap them back in yourself.Yet they tell you whole thing needs replacing @ $175. I have had 2 issues w k/b, and computer has already crashed once. But it was given as a gift.
