The new Ipod nano is amazing, The Ipod nano has a 1.5 inch, 320 x 240 color LCD screen which dominates the ipod. I believe that the ipod nano is amazing, but it has a BIG drawback. "THE PRICE" Paying $199.99 is a lot for...truly any portable music/video player. I do love my ipod nano but I say to myself why pay $199.99 when you can get it for free? I researched a little before buying the Sansa 4GB mp3 player. I was impressed with the extra features such as voice recording, fm radio, video and photo storage. It was so easy to get started and the sound is fantastic. I have not had any problems and am very pleased with my purchase. I bought my 4th Generation 20 Gig iPod about a month back now and it is awesome. I love it. It looks nice just having it sitting there. Everywhere you go and people see it they start aweing and talking about you and it. And i live in NYC where these are pretty common. The only moving part is the hold button and if you consider the touchpad buttons moving well than. Very pricey accessories and what not but they are not needed. The battery lasts well enough to get you through a day. I like the new mini inovated clickwheel. i've used a third gen before and you don't feel like your pushing a button to make it move. The click wheel is awesome and easy to remeber where buttons are. even if you don;t have the remote and it's in ur pocket.....locate the button a push down. You can even spin the wheel for volume through ur pocket. If you drop it, it'll hurt you more than the iPod. It'e expensive but way worth the money. The iPod mini is an amazing little device; once you see one for yourself and get to play around with it you
will want one. The mini is ultra compact compared to the other current models of the iPod and it comes in a
color other than white, which is a nice change. It holds a nice 8-hour charge with makes it nice for a full day
of driving or any other activity. There are numerous add-ons that you can get for the mini so you can use it
for more than just an MP3 player. How many people sit down and listen to more than 1,000 songs in a day,
probably not that many.
There is one problem with the first generation iPod Minis that you should be aware of. If you purchased you
iPod Mini before June 2004 you are eventually going to get very poor sound quality due to a faulty internal
connection. This usually happens after about 20 to 40 days of use. This is a reason why it has been so hard
