This is my fourth Palm PDA. I upgraded from a Palm Tungsten T to the new T/X. I've been waiting for Palm to come out with an integrated WiFi unit and have been pleased with the unit to date. The synching via WiFi is slick and the screen quality is excellent. The battery life has been good thus far. I would recommend this product for any fan of Palm PDAs. ( See all reviews)

Easy to use operating system and software. Documents to go is a great addition - I have several large Excel spreadsheets that I refer to - don't try to do much spreadsheet work on it, the screen on any PDA is too small to be effecient. The Hot butons on the bottom are excellent, well thought-out short cuts. The calander and planning aspects are well designed and a real time saver.
This is my first PDA and I am not disappointed. Overall, Im impressed as I learn more about the unit. I was concerned about the battery but it has turned out to be as strong as the rest of the unit.
I can't use it outside in bright sunlight but then again what screen can be used in bright sunlight.
Overall, this is a winner. I ( See all reviews)

The X51v is my first upgrade from a circa 2000 HP Jornada 720 (Windows CE Ver. 2) and I am mostly pleased with the upgrade, especially the built in multimedia support, built-in wireless 802.11b, and availability of a large base of excellent third-party software.
Windows Mobile has added many features and dropped a few since CE Ver. 2. For example, no MS Access. Not a big loss for a small PDA. Files can no longer be password protected (third party software remedies that -- for a price) and the MS Word outlining feature is no longer supported. I had a lot of text files "indexed" with the outliner. Fewer fonts, etc. Direct conversion to the newer OS was impossible and required extensive editing. The Jornada's excellent calculator is replaced by a rather crude "adding machine." Anybody who buys an X51v would likely want some real calculator features. Again, rather excellent third party add-ins are available -- for a price. In general, the major new capabilities far outweigh the ... ( See all reviews)

When I bought mine, it was so easy and similar to a pc that I dont need to use the instruction manual.
It is nice to have all contacts and business list together, and the best is that I can have all my pricelist in excel.
I love when I have something in word and I can fax it, or receive any fax..!!
The internet conection, its like surf in a common PC.
The size its very nice in all their componets, you can write with out any problem.
And any date or meeting, just program and I will getremembered for her =)
Nice, very nice, I never change this for a palm or similar...!!!

I have found this Ipaq very handy. Now that San Disk makes a SDIO Wi-Fi, my Ipaq is even ready for the tougher challenge of web browsing. Love it ( See all reviews)

This handheld is terrific! Wanted something to organize myself and this is perfect. Hot syncing is a snap. All the programs are useful. Downloaded 2 Bible versions with ease. The speed is lightening fast and the memory is ample. Have almost 20megs of free space. Even though short battery life is a drawback, I use mine daily here and there and the charge lasts a week. Stores pictures from my digital camera with excellent color and clarity. Can't imagine not having one now. Truly thankful! ( See all reviews)

If you can use Windows & MS office on your home computer you can use this PDA. Its as powerful as my home computer and I can carry it in my pocket. Its great for taking with me to meetings, on airplanes and even at the beach.
Its comes nicely equipped with Microsoft office for the PDA.
Its transfers very easily between the home computer and the PDA, however the sync setup was a little difficult to get going as I first needed to update my Outlook to a newer version. But the softwear to do this was all included. ( See all reviews)

Display went bad in just under 2 months of light use. Signed up for Viewsonic's Express Replacement Service which spoke of will ship in 48 hours. It has now been close to 2 weeks and no replacement unit has shipped. Have spent approximately 6-8 hours with faxing, emails and phone calls to Viewsonic during that time period. Bottom line, we will never ever buy another Viewsonic product. ( See all reviews)

After reading about all the online speculation about the T5's possible shortcomings, I was apprehensive at first, but the T5 is attractive, comfortable, easy to use, fast, and runs all of the programs I need, or want such as the powerful DataViz relational database and ElectricPocket's delightful BugMe Notepad. The screen is vivid, everything runs fast, and the handwriting recognition software runs so well that I've forgotten all about thinking I'd need a separate keyboard. Drive Mode is wonderfully easy to use, and the flash memory is incredible. The battery is long lasting and recharges quickly. The few times my T5 crashed, generally due to operator error, it came right back up in record time with no lost date. Amazing! ( See all reviews)

I am so happy with this product. I have video's,pictures, documents, games,to do lists, appointments, reminders, all in this one unit. The quality is just awesome. I have so many great things to say about this. But if you want to know more con's they are: internal memory is too small 16 just doesn't cut it, it should be 64ram at least, it is difficult to use and the manual it comes with sucks! It takes some time to learn, I'm good with computers and some things were a challenge to me and I'm still trying to figure things out. But once you get things working, it's fantastic!
