Equipped with Resolution Enhancement technology (RET) and ColorSmart technology, this printer can produce exceptional black output and more than 16 million different colors, including Pantone matched sets. Some features of the DeskJet 1600C include enhanced HP PCL 5 with color, automatic setup program, ColorSmart printer driver, bi-directional status feedback monitor, and TrueType screen fonts. Use the printer control panel in DOS or Windows for printer setup and configuration from your PC. Memory Enhancement technology (MET) allows most large, complex files to print within base memory. Easily upgrade to Adobe PostScript Level-2 language with an optional upgrade kit.
