I was impressed with the quality of the leather. The briefcase was a gift to our daughter who teaches school. The briefcase meeets all her needs; the ability to expand, places for pens, phone, etc., the foldover flap, the detachable strap. The quality of the item for the price is exceptional. I checked a lot of sites before finding this item. It is both fashionable and functional. Also, the exceptional quick delivery was amazing! Mrs. C.
