We recieved the item with "postage due" why would we recieve a postage due notice when we paid for the shipping and handleing

Items arrived damaged in transit. Aubuchon replaced them, promptly, free of charge and EXTREMELY well-packed. I am very happy with Aubuchon's service, as well as the selection of hardware they have available.
