I have ordered many items from Buy.com. I usually receive them quicker than promised. This purchase was the exception, not the rule. I will continue to use them. Their prices are great and you usually receive the merchandise quickly.

I found most of my experience with Buy.com above what I had recently come to find; I.E. better prices, selection of items. However, I'm not sure if it was particular to the item/price of what I bought, but I was a little taken back by the inability to select the color of the item I purchased. Futhermore, even though this product was offered with Free Shipping; it's deliverly was not what I've come to expect from other vendors offering Free Shipping. I realize this impacts overall pricing, so it's not so much a complaint as it is a comment. I'm not sure why it's happening; as I've verified the product is producing a voltage when I hooked a meter to it; but it will not charge my cellular as expected... (more)

Some features, or better said, lack of features, on this product were not advertised. Such as, not portable and the GPS does not give directions by street name. That being said, I am happier with this product than one from Navistar.

I ordered an item that was incompatible with my needs. Within 2 hours of ordering, I tried to cancel my purchase only to find that Buy.com doesn't list any phone numbers for customer service. The only way to request a cancellation is by email. I found the phone number by searching through Google (other people have posted it) and was told that since my payment was accepted immediately they would not be able to cancel the order. Also, I was told to await delivery and REFUSE delivery and then I would receive a credit. This meant determining the date of arrival and then waiting at home all day for Fed Ex as the package requires no signature for delivery. I had to chase the Fed Ex person down the... (more)
