I ordered a Nikon 55-200mm VR Lens for my Nikon D60 from Abe's on Wednesday May 7th and received it at my home by 1:30pm the next day May 8th!!! Talk about fast delivery!! VERY satisfied with their service, Zack (the telephone assistant) from Abe's was VERY nice and helpful, and the price was the best out there. I would HIGHLY recommend Abe's of Maine to all my friends! GREAT experience, THANKS!!! I'll definitely shop there again!!! (more)

I bought a Sony HDR-HC9 camera from Abe's of Maine. Started online but finished on the phone due to their running a promotion. While ordering was given the usual "sell" about warranty, extra equipment, etc. Had already planned to get a second battery so ordered that. Asked for a Sony NP-FH70 battery and was told $79. Kind of high but decided I needed it. When I got my package and opened it saw that the battery comes with a supplied cable for attaching to the camcorder. It is an aftermarket battery and not a Sony product. These can be found for $25 anywhere. Don't mind so much getting ripped off but am severely annoyed that to use this battery I have to carry a cable around... (more)

I had a great experience with these guys. I bought a 32” Samsung TV. The representative called me the same day I placed my order, just in a few hours, and did not pressure me into buying accessories. When I refused to purchase the cable he offered, he politely said they will mail my order. 2 days later my order was shipped and 6 days later, I got my package, which was nicely packaged. I will definitely shop with this merchant again! (more)

Very poor customer service. I ordered my product and my credit card was billed the next day. I waited 2 weeks with no product. Called and was told they cancelled because my shipping address was different then my billing address. I thought that was obvious when I placed my order and gave them a billing address and a different shipping address. I was told they tried to call which they did not as my phone shows all calls both missed and received. Very poor service I would avoid the hassle and order with someone else. Abe's is not worth the headache. I can't imagine how they would be to return a defective product. (more)
