Amazon is sliding down the slippery slope to a sub-par vendor. I and several others I know have noticed the considerably longer time it takes Amazon to fulfill and ship orders. This is really getting to be very noticeable, especially with the FREE Super Saver Shipping option. After spending several hundred dollars in one order, the free shipping is nice but getting to be not worth the wait anymore. Contrast this to a time a few years back when you would order from Amazon and then receive your product in a few days and go "Wow, I just ordered that three days ago and now it's here. Fantastic!" I frequently order books, CDs, movies, and computer accessories from Amazon.com. I have been pleased with the quality of the purchases as well as the delivery time. I also was very happy with the free shipping when $25 of qualifying merchandise was purchased. This is the main reason I continue to shop at Amazon.com. (more)

What is there to say about Amazon that isn't already known? They are an excellent company with which to do business.

I have been dealing with amazon.com and find they are a good place to buy merchandise. Their prices are very fair.

I use Amazon for all sorts of things. I buy all my books, CD's, DVD's and toys for my grandchildren there. it is a great web site with great prices.

AmAzon had a particular device to help my husband and the crew measure stair treads. As a buildong contractor, he needed one ASAP. He went straight to Amazon and found just what he needed. It saved a lot of time and gas and will be here tomorrow. He ordered it yesterday. (more)

I purchased a book from amazon.com itself and a small massage pillow from one of their on-site sellers. They have almost anything you can imagine, usually with a price and quality range. They pay attention to the performance of their "sellers" and I've never been disappointed. Their shipping options are fair with time and pricing options, as well as "free" shipping on orders of $25 and over. I have never gotten anything of poor quality from this merchant. If anything, products are of higher quality than I was expeccting. Lastly, nine times out of ten they get items to you before their ship estimte. Sometimes their site seems a bit cluttered. Other than being a little "busy" this is generally a model site. Really like the range of products and links to other vendors.

In my opinion Amazon.com is and has always been one of the best on-line websites to order merchandise from. Including this purchase, searching for items is easy and if Amazon doesn't have it, then chances are they recommend someone else who does. I knew exactly when it shipped and it arrived on time with no delays. (more)
