Loew's is more "female friendly".Home Depot is more convient with more locations, but if I am specifically going shopping in Home Improvment I'll go to Loew's. It's cleaner,brighter & the staff seems 2 help women more.

I have always found the customer service at Home Depot lacking. If I need something that I am not 100% sure about my purchase, I will go somewhere with more knowledgable and personable representatives.

We shop at Home Depot Mazatlán, Mexico, so comments might not apply to US stores. Product selection in Mexico is not as extensive as in US, and prices are higher because of the fluctuation of the dollar vs the peso.
