I am pleased with Hotwire but not with Europacar rented through Hotwire. This is the third time I rented a car in Cancun and this was the only time I was very disappointed. On every level of the operation we were severely disappointed.

At time of pick up there was an issue with the car rental company Hertz saying Hotwire had not released the full days of the car rental and that I would have to pay the extra day. The issue was not resolved by Hotwire to my satisfaction.

AfterWaiting 1Hr rental line FullSize was not available.I accepted smaller Malibu-no credeit was offered.I beleiveI prepaid for tank of gas based on the full size Impala & not the smaller tank for the Mailbu, as we did do a full fill up.

I purchased airline tickets & every one of my flights had a problem. From being delayed & missing connecting flight to our seats being given to someone else. It was brought to our attention this is from over-booking. Worst flying experience ever!!

I rented a vehicle in mco, however,the 3rd party liability was not offered, there were other insurances that were offered which i took, so i had to get the 3rd party liability from national car rental.

We waited in line at Herz 2 hrs. We had to drive 2 hours to our destination,after traveling since 7:30am EST, long day!
